How to Use AmeriPlan Dental ®
|
For many years now, dentists have received payment owed by the customer one of two ways. The first way is done though an insurance company.
The dentist office would wait weeks at a time only to receive the negotiated payment (a fraction of the customary fees) between the dental office and the insurance company. The second way is to charge the customer full price.

Below are step by step instructions on how AmeriPlan ® Dental is used:

- Find a Dentist - To find a dentist in your area click on the "find a provider" link in the upper left hand corner of the page. You can search through our provider list by zip code.
- Call the Dentist - Tell the office that you're an
AmeriPlan
® Member and that you're inquiring about becoming a new patient. Then make an appointment at your convenience and make sure to bring your member card.
- Pay the Dentist - during your first visit, the dentist will examine you and tell you what work you need to have done. When the visit is over, pay the dentist the discounted price for service!
